The Queen’s Head is a stunning, centuries-old pub right at the heart of the charming village of Crowmarsh Gifford. Cross the threshold to discover a warm welcome, fresh, seasonal British food, an enviable selection of beers and wines - and fine company to boot!

Putting a great British twist on food from around the world, we craft fresh, seasonal, innovative dishes using local produce from Oxfordshire and Berkshire suppliers.

It’s already the beating heart of village life - but The Queen’s Head aims to be the most welcoming pub in Wallingford. With a roaring fire in winter, a charming garden for summer and an open invitation to well-behaved dogs, it’s a relaxed place to enjoy with all the family.

A superb collection of ales including London Pride and Seafarers are kept in fine condition in our cellar. We boast a wonderful wine list too, with bottles from around the globe.

Spooky - With this place almost seven centuries old, you might not be surprised to learn The Queens Head is home to a ghost. A friendly one though - so far, at least…
