Discover the joy of exploring the Cotswolds on two-wheels with a guided, or self-guided, tour of Oxford and the Cotswolds.

Bainton Bikes have a selection of tours or will create a bespoke itinerary for you in tours lasting from 2 to 8 hours, even including lunch, punting and afternoon tea for longer tours.

Meander through quiet roads as you journey to hidden gems and locations experiencing the beautiful Cotswold countryside by bicycle. 

Tours can be tailor-made to meet individual requirements or focus on special interests.

The Oxford, Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon tour, for example, reveals the best this wonderful part of the country has to offer – from stunning views to historic buildings, and including stops for lunch and refreshments in delightful country inns using fabulous local products.

Booking

Price: Prices vary on tour length. For example Oxford Highlights tour for adults starts from £25.

Duration: 2 to 6 hours, depending on tour chosen. A short, bespoke tour of an hour is possible, although we recommend a 2 hour minimum.

Capacity: Minimum of 2 people in Oxford and 6 in the Cotswolds. Maximum of 20 people.

Opening: Tours are available any day, all year round. Our group Highlights tour runs every Saturday and Sunday from April to October.

Facilities

Language: English, French, Italian and Spanish language options. For English led tours guests will need a basic knowledge of English to fully appreciate the experience.

Pick-up service: Bikes and guides can meet groups at their location and finish at another location.

Accessibility: Not accessible for people with physical disabilities. Low level of fitness required.

Special requirements: Wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions. E.g. if tour is in December bring gloves and waterproof clothing.
