Take a stroll around the beautiful 300-acre Bishop’s Court Farm in the convivial company of our charming alpacas. These friendly creatures love attention almost as much as they love their food, so they’re always more than happy to stop for snacks and selfies.

This experience begins with a meet and greet with our alpacas before learning a little about them. We have a herd of 60 alpacas – from six months to 14-years-old – so whether you’ll be accompanied by Rudy or Tyler, Enigma or Joker, a splendid time is guaranteed for all.

After being shown how to lead your alpaca, we then go for a walk with your companion, though this must be done at alpaca-pace – unless someone is tempting them with the prospect of food, they are rarely in a rush.

We will give you a bag of feed for your alpaca to keep him happy as you meander through our picturesque fields and lakes. Alpacas love attention, so they are only too happy to stop for snacks and photo opportunities along the way.

The Alpaca Walk takes about an hour and a half. It can get a little muddy, so we advise you to bring wellies or walking boots. Sometimes they like to walk into the lake so be prepared to get your feet wet.
