Visit a unique venue and heritage site with a fascinating story, set around a 13th century Manor House and Grade II listed 18th century farm buildings, enchanting walled garden, orchard and walks around the island woodland and moat by the River Windrush.  Explore each room of the Manor House with new interactive storytelling and audio visual display, including the Victorian kitchen. Cogges has featured in a number of films and TV shows and is the location for Yew Tree Farm in Downton Abbey.

Children will also enjoy the woodland adventure play area with zip wire, nature trail and saying hello to the animals. You’ll find chickens and ducks roaming free plus pigs, goats, sheep, Shetland ponies, guinea pigs, rabbits and farm cats.

Plan a day trip and treat yourself to breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea from the café or you’re welcome to bring a picnic. Look out also for special events, outdoor theatre shows, adult learning workshops and extra activities in the school holidays. 

Opening Times:

The main open season is 1 March to 1 November, 7 days a week,  9.30am to 4.30pm. Check the website for winter opening hours at cogges.org.uk
