We love our ales, so we’ve sourced a fine selection of real ales and craft ales from down the road (and keeping a centuries-old connection – see our history).
Enjoy a freshly poured cask ale from Hook Norton Brewery, a family-run independent brewery based in the Cotswolds. They’re seriously passionate about producing the finest ale using a blend of traditional methods passed down through the generations (since 1849) and just a few modern processes to complement. They’re award winning too.
If you’re not in the mood for ale, we also stock a range of refreshing lagers, bottled beers, wines, ciders and non-alcoholic drinks.

We source everything locally, use seasonal vegetables and prepare our meals fresh in the kitchen every day.
We’ve got all the classics, including our homemade pies, fish & chips (prepared with Hooky ale batter), and bangers & mash plus salads and lasagne. We also serve a hearty Shepherd's pudding and sweet desserts to round off your meal.
There are vegetarian options, a vegan Sunday roast, and we can cater for most dietary requirements – just let us know before you order.
