Directions

Road Directions

We are easy to find as there are only two main streets in Winchcombe and we are on one of them – North Street. If you are travelling down the high street look for the Museum (with the original town stocks outside) – North Street runs down the side of the Museum.

Parking – Behind us (accessible via Chandos Street) is a pay & display car park with a private entrance to The Lion Inn. The car park is free between 17:30 and 08:00 (money put in after 17:30 will be counted against the following morning). There is a long-stay car park behind the library on Back Lane (5 minutes walk) which costs £1 for the whole day. There is also free one-hour parking opposite the front entrance to The Lion. We are more than happy to meter feed for you.

Public Transport Directions

Located approximatley 20 minutes away by car from both Cheltenham and Evesham train stations.

There is a bus service from the Cheltenham Bus Station to Winchcombe. From the bus at Abbey Terrace (Lloyds Bank) and walk towards the town centre. Look for the museum, and turn left into North Street.  We are a short distance along North Street on the right hand side.
