About
Enjoy the liberating freedom of cycling with none of the strain with a unique guided experience of the stunning north Cotswolds countryside on state-of-the-art electric bikes.
You’ll wave goodbye to main roads, exploring the meandering and quiet country backroads on a 40km circular route through some of the most picturesque and quintessential Cotswold villages.
Starting in picture perfect Kingham, you quickly reach a photo-stop at Cornwell Manor (a location for “The Holiday”) and on to the sleepy village of Broadwell, riding ancient medieval lanes and the leafy Monarch’s Way to ancient town Stow on the Wold. Soak up its history – beautiful market square, wool church and famous “Tolkien door” – before buying a delicious picnic lunch to enjoy close by in a very special location.
The views get even bigger as the tour continues to the Slaughters and on to bustling Bourton on the Water, known as the Venice of the Cotswolds for the river running through its heart, for some time browsing local shops and capturing your experience by camera.
Your tour guide has lived and cycled the Cotswolds for more than 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge of the local history, flora and fauna.
Tours start at 10am and finish around 4pm, with plenty of time to enjoy the scheduled stops, coffee breaks, a relaxing lunch and impromptu photo stops.
All stops are carefully chosen to provide an authentic taste of the area in delightful settings.
Guests don’t need to be super fit to enjoy this tour – they only need to be comfortable and competent riding a conventional bike.
The minimum age for riding an e-bike in the UK is 14 years - an electric tandem which allows parents to ride with children (subject to availability) can be booked from tours starting in Kingham.
If the tours are cancelled due to inclement weather guests are given a full re-fund or offered a tour on an alternative day. Cancellation decisions are taken the night before the tour date, based on the local BBC weather forecast at 6pm.
