Whilst much day-to-day maintenance can be undertaken overnight and outside of our opening hours there are larger refurbishment programmes that require us to close for a period of time to undertake this very necessary and important work.
In the heart of the city, Thermae Bath Spa is an award-winning natural spa where you can bathe in Bath’s naturally warm, mineral-rich waters just as the Celts and Romans did over 2,000 years ago.
By day and night, you can relax in the indoor Minerva Bath, named after the Roman Goddess of Health and Wisdom and open-air rooftop pool with spectacular views over the City. You can also refresh your senses in the multi-sensory Wellness Suite featuring rooms such as the Infrared Room, Ice Chamber and Celestial Relaxation Room. Thermae Bath Spa is a perfect place to go for a spa experience whilst visiting Bath!
There are no joining or membership fees at Thermae Bath Spa and you can simply choose a 2-hour spa session in the New Royal Bath. A spa session gives full use of the Minerva Bath, open-air rooftop pool, Wellness Suite, plus access to the Springs Café. Spa sessions start at £38 and can be booked either in advance or in person on the day. Please note children under 16 are not permitted in the New Royal Bath.
Spa treatments range from traditional massages and facials to specialities such as Inner Peace and Bamboo Massage. We offer a selection of great value spa packages, featuring a spa session and choice of treatments. Spa treatmentsshould be booked in advance by calling 01225 331234.
As late afternoon turns into early evening, you have the opportunity to make use of the spa facilities and experience the gradual change in light and atmosphere at Thermae Bath Spa. The (Monday-Friday) Twilight Package is all-inclusive price of £55 (or £100 for two people) which features a 2-hour spa session plus time in the Café, use of towel, robe, choice of one dish from the ‘Springs Menu’ and a glass of house wine, lager or juice in the Restaurant.
The sacred Cross Bath is an intimate open-air thermal bath. Fed by its own natural spring, this beautiful building with its own changing facilities can be enjoyed as a unique venue for an exclusive spa experience for a group of up to 10 people.
An exclusive booking for up to 10 people starts at £800. Please note children under 12 are not permitted in the Cross Bath. Young people between 12 - 16 must be accompanied by an adult / guardian on a 1:1 ratio.
