About
Open Days at Willowbrook Farm are a great opportunity to visit us on the farm, especially if this is your first visit. With so much to see and do it's sure to be an unforgettable and educational experience!
While walking along farm trails you will learn about the principles and processes of sustainable and ethical farming. Meet the animals around the farm and chill out in the magical woodland play area.
Enjoy fresh homegrown and homemade food at the café. Observe and chat with this farming family while they work on a range of seasonal farm activities (such as sheep shearing, veg gardening, willow weaving, wool spinning and more!)
And of course don't forget to stock up with farm produce before you leave - You can order in advance or browse and buy on the day.
Our farming principles are informed by the desire to farm naturally and sustainably:
-To treat livestock ethically, meeting their physiological and behavioural needs
-To maintain the long term fertility and biological activity of soils
-To foster biodiversity and protect sensitive habitats and landscapes
-To maximise the use of renewable sources and recycling
-To minimise pollution and waste
-To develop ecologically responsible production, processing and distribution chains, emphasising local systems
We welcome visitors to come see the farm, meet the animals & family via various visiting opportunities such as camping, open days, casual weekend visits, school groups and more!
