Our stunning woodland yurt is a 16-foot diameter canvas tribute to Burt Reynolds, one of the pioneers of outdoor living.

Inside is a hand-made double bed, quirky furnishing and two single futons for the little ‘uns.

Outside there is a spacious deck with camp kitchen under canvas, a hand-crafted canvas and wood bath-house with a roll-top tub, firebowl and thunderbox loo.

Step off the deck and you are in the ancient woodlands, with tracks through the woods leading to the canal below.

All around are the sounds and sights of the woods – deer, rabbits, birds of prey and rare butterflies.

Westley Farm is one of the Cotswolds’ best-kept secrets, a 70-acre farm, surrounded by ancient woodland, rolling meadows and unrivalled views. There’s lots to do on the farm, from pony rides to exploring the woods, but if you want to venture out we’re close to the Cotswold gems, as well as the foodie heaven of Stroud and the Roman market town of Cirencester. There’s golf, waterparks, castles, gliding and even a local circus on the doorstep.

But you might want to stay put and watch for the kestrels, buzzards, owls, badgers, foxes and deer, as well as the sheep and cattle that graze the fields.
