At the heart of the Visitor Centre at Batsford you’ll find the Garden Terrace Café – a great place to catch up with friends for morning coffee or lunch, or to indulge in one of our sumptuous cakes with afternoon tea! 

Everything is freshly-baked on the premises each day using locally-sourced produce wherever possible. A choice of three home-baked hot dishes are on offer every lunchtime - one meat, one fish and one vegetarian option all served with a choice of vegetables or salad.

The cafe is open Monday to Sunday from 9.30am to 5pm. Breakfast is served from 9.30 until 11.00am with hot lunches available from 12 to 2pm. 

Paninis, soup (including their famous fish soup!) and a huge range of cakes are available throughout the day.

Why not enjoy your meal from the lovely terrace overlooking the Plant Centre and the Evenlode Valley beyond - a great place to soak up the sun and admire the views!
