As with most things in life, one-size doesn’t fit all and not all tourism businesses will fall neatly into the three main membership categories (entry, gold & platinum).
That’s why we also offer a number of different membership levels and rates which prove the exception to the rule!

Eating out and shopping memberships
If you are an independent, Cotswold-based eatery (coffee or teashop, restaurant, pub etc) or an independent retailer that would be of interest to visitors, please complete our short online form to apply for free membership. The free membership includes a basic website listing and inclusion in relevant searches. Whilst we make every effort to include businesses, Cotwolds Tourism reserves the right to choose which entries are suitable for inclusion on the website.
Self-catering agencies
Self-catering agency memberships are treated as gold level and offer a website page for the agency – not individual properties - and a choice of 2 geographical locations for the agency to appear in searches. National self-catering agencies who wish to have a presence on our website must have (or create) a Cotswolds landing page on their website for us to link to. We are about promoting the Cotswolds – not national businesses who happen to have some properties in the Cotswolds.
Self-catering agency membership costs £500 + VAT a year.
Free to enter attractions
Please contact us to discuss but generally membership is free.
Associate membership
This membership is for Cotswolds-based or Cotswolds-focussed businesses which don’t fall into any other categories but who wish to join us and be associated with our brand. You’ll receive a smaller size (square) banner advert on our website (randomly displaying with other Associate members), member updates, invites to networking events and the opportunity to contribute to consumer enewsletters (where appropriate and at our discretion).
Associate membership costs £250 + VAT a year.
Events membership
Events can be entered free of charge on our website by going to www.cotswolds.com/submit. Enhanced event membership means your event will be included in the ‘Don’t Miss’ and ‘In This Section’ areas of the What’s on page, as well as promoted on our social media channels.
Enhanced events membership costs £99 + VAT a year.
T&Cs
Cotswolds Tourism reserves the right to refuse membership to any business it deems unsuitable and to remove businesses from the website if substantiated complaints are received.
