With our rural roads combined with a clear local ambition for net zero by local authorities it means having an integrated transport and active travel plan that not only works across the local area but links to wider regional transport hubs is vital. We are working to encourage visitors to leave the car behind once in destination, explore by walking and cycling and arrive by rail.
