Cotswolds Plus LVEP Management Board
The CotswoldsPlus Management Board has been set up to provide guidance, advice and strategic oversight to the Executive Officer Group working group (EOG) aimed at assisting the delivery of agreed action plans covering the LVEP’s areas of activity.
- To provide guidance, advice, and oversight as above.
- To provide advice, guidance and support on the refinement and implementation of actions in the EOG action plan.
- To leverage the collective strength of the organisations represented by members of the Management Board, where appropriate, to assist the implementation of the action plan.
- To use their skills, knowledge, experience and intelligence to guide the management of the local visitor economy.
- To act as ambassadors for the LVEP and to lobby other organisations and individuals where appropriate.
- To decide on any future requests by neighbouring DMOs or local authorities to join the LVEP and/or the Management Board – although these would also have to be agreed by Visit England if they changed the geography of the area covered.
The Board is chaired by the Chief Executive of the Cotswolds National Landscape and will meet quarterly unless in exceptional circumstances. Board Members are expected to volunteer their time and not incur costs for attending meetings.
